A manufacturing company in Serendah, Malaysia is seeking a Sales Manager to manage sales operations under the sales vice president's leadership. Responsibilities include formulating sales strategies, monitoring market dynamics, maintaining customer relationships, managing contracts, and analyzing sales data. Proven sales management experience in the aluminum industry is preferred. The ideal candidate will be skilled in negotiation and relationship management and should be proficient in Microsoft Office and both Mandarin and English.
Under the leadership of the sales vice president, the sales manager carries out sales work, assists in formulating sales strategies, annual sales plans, and monthly quantified sales targets.
The sales manager reasonably decomposes the sales targets assigned by the company into regional or market-specific sales goals and allocates them to subordinate sales representatives, while assisting them in completing sales tasks and achieving the company's assigned sales objectives.
The sales manager stays informed about market dynamics, monitors competitors' business activities within the assigned region, assists relevant departments in conducting market research, and provides professional and constructive suggestions.
Through legal means, the sales manager develops and maintains customer resources, establishes a customer management directory, builds a reserve of potential clients, and allocates and develops target customers. Regularly evaluates existing clients, phasing out low‑quality ones.
The sales manager is responsible for the signing, execution, and management of sales contracts, ensuring the fulfillment of sales and payment collection targets at each stage for all clients.
The sales manager is required to update the status of all clients on a monthly basis, including order details, the proportion of orders placed with the company, financial status, and any litigation matters.
The sales manager is responsible for preparing weekly and monthly sales plans for the department and summarizing and analyzing monthly sales data.
On a monthly basis, the sales manager evaluates the performance of the customer service department and provides suggestions for improvement.
The sales manager is responsible for formulating the monthly performance evaluation plan for the sales representatives within the department.
Diploma or bachelor's degree.
Proven sales experience as a manager in the aluminum and manufacturing industry is preferred.
Possess own transport and willing to travel throughout Malaysia when required.
Strong skills in negotiation, sales strategy, budgeting, costing and performance analysis.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Proficient in both Mandarin and English is an added advantage as employees need to communicate with Mandarin‑speaking customers and Headquarters.
