Job summary

A medical devices company is seeking a Sales Executive in Malaysia to develop relationships with healthcare professionals and promote surgical devices. The ideal candidate has a diploma/degree in a relevant field and at least 2 years of sales experience in medical devices. Responsibilities include product demonstrations and supporting clients in operating theaters. This role requires strong communication skills and willingness to travel for client meetings.

Sales Executive (Medical Devices & Disposables)

An established medical devices and disposables company committed to delivering comprehensive solutions to healthcare providers. We specialize in cardiology, orthopedics, and laparoscopy, providing high-quality surgical devices and equipment to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare institutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, healthcare professionals, and hospital procurement teams.
  • Promote and sell medical devices, surgical equipment, and disposables to hospitals and healthcare facilities.
  • Provide product demonstrations and training to medical staff, ensuring effective usage of surgical devices.
  • Conduct pre- and post-sales visits to operating theaters (OT) to support healthcare providers with product usage.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s market share.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and technical support, to ensure smooth sales operations.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management review.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Biomedical Science, Medical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience in medical devices, surgical equipment, or related fields.
  • Experience in OT sales, surgical devices, or equipment is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and medical procurement process.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Willing to travel as required to meet clients and attend surgical procedures.
