Job summary

A public listed company in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Executive to drive sales growth within the HVAC market. The ideal candidate will have a technical background along with strong communication skills and at least 1-2 years of experience in technical sales. Proficiency in Mandarin is mandatory as the role involves dealing with Mandarin-speaking clients. You will be expected to build client relationships, conduct presentations, and provide technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.

As a Sales Executive, you will be the key technical resource for our sales team, responsible for driving sales growth by providing technical expertise and demonstrating the value of our products and services to prospects and customers. You will understand customer needs and tailor solutions to meet those needs, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle.

What will you be doing?
  • Build and maintain relationships with key existing customers, grow and expand the market by identifying potential customers and developing new accounts, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor and expert in your field.
  • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our products and services.
  • Promote and sell our products (Fuji Electric & Panasonic) to Air Cond Contractor, Main Contractor, and M&E Consultant. Penetrate Fuji Inverter and range of products for HVAC project.
  • Develop and direct effective sales channels by scheduling customer visits, organizing sales calls and conducting sales visits.
  • Monitor stock orders, follow up on collections and payments, and provide technical feedback on customer needs and expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our products and services competitive in the marketplace.
  • Provide quality technical support and guidance throughout the sales process to close deals and ensure customer satisfaction.
Are you the one?

Minimum a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electromechanical). At least 1‑2 years’ experience in technical sales and marketing in the construction industry. Mandarin is mandatory as the role requires dealing with Mandarin-speaking clients. Possess own vehicle, willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
