Job summary

A major FMCG company based in Johor Bahru is seeking a Sales Executive to ensure that all subordinates achieve monthly KPIs, track performance, and manage new outlet openings. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Business or a related field alongside 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the FMCG sector. Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential, as well as proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Overview
  • Ensure all subordinates achieve their monthly KPIs, including sales volume and revenue targets.
  • Monitor and track subordinates’ performance daily, weekly, and monthly, providing timely feedback and corrective actions.
  • Manage and support new outlet openings within the assigned territory.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) control for the assigned territory.
  • Execute activities according to the monthly work plan and ensure operational discipline.
  • Ensure full route coverage on a daily basis.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics on stock availability and timely delivery reconciliation.
  • Handle and coordinate customer orders, enquiries, and complaints.
  • Provide routing coordination and file/records maintenance support.
  • Ensure availability and proper deployment of selling tools and point-of-purchase (POP) materials for agents or depots.
  • Coordinate execution of resets, special events, and equipment deliveries.
  • Monitor and manage subordinates’ attendance, leave, and sick days.
  • Coach, train, and develop existing and newly joined subordinates to improve performance.
  • Drive achievement of monthly and quarterly targets in both cases and revenue.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Studies, Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 years of sales experience, preferably managing wholesalers in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications.
  • Possess own transport & valid driving licence.
