Job summary

A leading company in protective coatings seeks a Sales Executive in Johor Bahru to excel in meeting sales targets and expanding the customer base. The candidate should have at least SPM qualification, 1-2 years of sales experience in construction or machinery, and strong communication skills. This full-time position demands travel and customer interaction, requiring self-motivation and the ability to forge long-term relationships with clients. Competitive salary and training provided.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification SPM holders; candidates with a Diploma or higher are preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in construction or machinery.
  • Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English are an advantage.

Polymer Applications Southern – Johor Bahru, Johor

The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.

Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Sourcing for new customers and develop existing accounts in order to improve the customer base and grow the business
  • Follow up on ongoing projects for sales opportunities
  • Liaise with customers to propose suitable protective floor coating system, and cooperate with Polymer's project team to make sure the project is complete and delivered on time (product training will be given)
  • Manage complex negotiations with all level executives
  • Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers
Requirements
  • Minimum qualification SPM holders; candidates with Diploma or onwards will be added advantage
  • 1-2 years working experience as sales in construction / machinery
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word
  • Possess good communication skill and able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English will be an added advantage
  • Candidate must have strong passion, self-driven and willing to break out of the comfort zones
  • Applicants must possess own transport and willing to travel
  • Only full time position available.
Qualifications
  • Experience in protective coating, paint, industrial sales is an added advantage
  • Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
