Job summary

A leading automation company in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive business growth in industrial automation. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in Mechatronic, Electrical, or Industrial Control Engineering and at least 1-2 years of sales experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Responsibilities include managing distributor relationships, assessing customer needs, and using CRM for reporting. A strong passion for sales and good interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

  • Follow up with customers to ensure order fulfillment.
  • Use CRM (IFS) for reporting and sales activity.
  • Maintain field intelligence on competitor activities.

Job description

Diploma/Degree in the field of Mechatronic, Electrical/Electronic, Industrial Control Engineering or related education.

At least 1~2 years of working experience in industrial automation sales preferred. Fresh graduates welcome.

Prior experience in Semiconductors segment will be an advantage.

Passionate with sales and marketing, enjoy challenges, positive attitudes.

Proficient in English spoken and written. Other languages will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

Managing existing distributors channels and joint development for new customers for continuous business growth to meet sales targets.

Fostering strong relationships with existing and new clients.

Assessing customer requirements and advising on the most suitable products for their needs.

Following up with customers to ensure orders have been fulfilled effectively.

Using CRM (IFS) to report daily sales activity, closing, follow-up activities.

Maintaining constant field intelligence and information on competitor activities.
