Overview
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our Footwear retail team. You will play a key role in delivering an exceptional in-store experience, achieving sales goals, and maintaining the brand’s premium standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product selection and fitting.
- Provide product knowledge and styling advice.
- Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
- Handle cashiering, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising.
- Ensure the store is clean and well-presented at all times.
- Assist the Shop Manager in overseeing daily store operations.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Support in achieving store KPIs, including sales targets, ATV, and UPT.
- Handle cashiering, inventory management, and stock replenishment.
- Ensure the store’s visual merchandising and cleanliness meet brand standards.
- Guide, train, and coach Sales Assistants on product knowledge and selling skills.
- Assist in staff scheduling and ensuring adequate manpower coverage.
- Resolve customer issues professionally and escalate when needed.
- Take charge of opening and closing duties when required.
- Assist the Store Manager in overall store management and operations.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
- Ensure high standards of customer service, store presentation, and product display.
- Manage inventory, stock transfers, and shrinkage control.
- Assist in planning staff schedules and ensuring optimized manpower deployment.
- Conduct training for staff on sales techniques, product knowledge, and brand standards.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and provide solutions professionally.
- Monitor store performance and provide action plans to improve sales and efficiency.
- Take full responsibility for store operations during the Store Manager’s absence.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–3 years of retail experience.
- Strong skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and guide the sales team.
- Good problem-solving skills and able to handle customer escalations professionally.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of store operations.
- Willing to work retail hours (weekends, public holidays, shift rotation).
