Job summary

A leading technology solutions provider in Malaysia is seeking a Sales & Application Engineer to drive sales and maintain customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 3 to 5 years of experience in business development or sales, particularly in IoT or related fields. Responsibilities include searching for new clients, preparing proposals, and managing existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction. This role offers a chance to work closely with both technical teams and customers.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in IoT, APS, or Ind4.0.
  • Experience in Business Development, Sales, or Marketing preferred.

Pro Cahaya Industries Sdn Bhd is looking for talented Sales & Application Engineer (Software).

What You'll Be Doing?
  • Searching for new clients who could benefit from your solution in your designated region;
  • Travelling to visit potential clients;
  • Establishing new, and maintaining existing, long-term relationships with key customers;
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements;
  • Preparing proposal to meet customers expectation;
  • Present the solution to convince customers accept your proposal;
  • Create value-added offer to customers;
  • Negotiating and closing sales by mutually agreeing terms and conditions;
  • Work closely with Principal for technical and commercial support;
  • Work closely with inter-department to provide the best solution to targeted customers;
  • Analyzing the pipeline, convert into quality forecast and close the sales order;
  • Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conference and other marketing events.
Who\'re We Looking For?
  • Possess at least Bachelor\'s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • At least 3 to 5 years working experience either in IoT, Advanced Planning And Scheduling (APS), Digitalization or Ind4.0 related field
  • Have experience working in Business Development, Sales Or Marketing is preferred
  • Experiences in Project Sales, preparing tender/proposal
  • Knowledge and experience in Mendix Low Code Platform and Advanced Planning And Scheduling are added advantages
  • Experience in Enterprise or OT Level is an added advantage
