The Sales Account Executive is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of AspenTech software solutions and professional services. This customer-facing role requires self-motivated individuals with excellent business and sales knowledge. The Sales Account Executive will use consultative skills to position AspenTech solutions, renew existing accounts, and grow our business. They will manage assigned accounts and opportunities to maximize revenue and deepen customer relationships, coordinating with marketing, pre-sales engineering, and development teams.
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, be proactive and motivated, outcome-oriented, and capable of strategic account management, accurate sales forecasting, and pipeline management. This role involves frequent travel within the South East Asia region.
