Job description

To advise the employer or any person in charge of a workplace

To assist the employer or the safety health committee in organizing and implementing safety and health program at the workplace

To become secretary to the safety and health committee.

To assist the safety and health committee in any inspection.

To inspect the workplace to determine whether the machinery, plant, equipment, substance, appliances or process or any description of manual labor to be used in the place of work is liable to cause injury.

To investigate any accident, near miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning, or occupational disease.

To collect, analyses and maintain statistic on any accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning, and occupational disease

To oversight the subordinates and employees in the SHE team

To carry out any other instruction made by the employer or any person in charge of the place of work or the place of work on any matter pertaining to safety and health.

Other responsibilities and duties assigned and required by management.

Manage the overall safety, health and environmental activities in the organisation

Enforce supervision, discipline and work ethics for site personnel in safety, health and environmental matters

Interact with local authorities and clients to ensure compliance with various codes and requirements

Inspect site to ensure safe work practices are followed

Conduct safety awareness training workshop to the site personnel

Review, update and feedback periodically on safety reports and records of individual sites

Perform any other safety & health duties assigned by the superior
