About the job RTR Associate (Mandarin Speaking)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end Record to Report (RTR) process, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform month-end and year-end close activities within specified timelines.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records and work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in audits by providing required documentation and explanations as necessary.
  • Continuously work on process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of RTR activities.
  • Handle ad-hoc tasks related to the RTR function as assigned by supervisors.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of working experience in a Shared Service Center (SSC) environment, specifically in Record to Report (RTR) functions.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is required to handle Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
