What you'll be doing
This is a full-time Retail Sales Assistant position at Alantic Sports Sdn Bhd. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with their purchases within a dynamic retail environment.
- Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assisting customers with product enquiries and making recommendations to match their needs
- Handling cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining the store's visual merchandising and ensuring product displays are well-stocked and appealing
- Providing input on inventory management and identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience
- Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver consistent top-notch customer service with welcoming greetings and engaging conversations
- Build strong customer relationships and maintain loyalty through proactive follow-up on queries
- Handle customer feedback and complaints with a positive, solution-oriented approach
Store Operations
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards according to company guidelines
- Ensure store cleanliness and appealing merchandise presentation
- Operate POS systems with precision and accuracy
- Support daily sales operations and inventory management
Inventory Management
- Assist with regular stock replenishment: Ensure shelves are regularly restocked to prevent stockouts and lost sales
- Participate in inventory stock take: Help with regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels and prevent discrepancies
- Maintain organized and well-stocked display areas: Keep products neat and organized to reduce loss and make items easy to locate
- Prevent Stock Loss: Support security measures to minimize theft and protect inventory
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or sales role, preferably in the sports or fashion industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the flexibility to adapt to changing demands
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively
- A positive, energetic and team-oriented approach
- Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
