Job summary

A leading retail management company is seeking a Retail Management & Development Executive to manage upgrading and renovation projects in Kuala Lumpur. The candidate will coordinate with various departments, designers, and contractors while ensuring compliance with regulations. Minimum qualification is a diploma in Architecture or Interior Design with 1-2 years of related experience. Strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English are required, and knowledge of Mandarin is a plus. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Preferably have technical and quantity survey experience.

RETAIL MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE (PROJECT MANAGEMENT)

Review and study drawings, coordinating with base building activities.

To handle and manage upgrading and renovation projects independently; carry out the work with compliance with mall guidelines and relevant authorities’ requirement and working within a stipulated time frame and budget.

Perform routine inspections and carry out induction meetings.

Coordinate with various departments, designers, consultants and contractors.

To execute any other job responsibilities as and when required by the superior or any other persons designated by the Company.

Job Requirements

Minimum a Diploma in Architecture/Interior Design

At least 1-2 years of related working experience in project/construction coordination and management.

Good initiative, self-motivated, possess a strong drive and result-oriented.

Preferably the candidate should possess good technical and quantity survey experience.

Good interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with all departments, consultants and sub-contractors.

Able to work under pressure to produce the desired result within the deadline.

Must be proactive, detailed and organized.

Strong command of Bahasa Malaysia and English. Able to speak Mandarin is an advantage as the candidate need to deal with Chinese contractor.
