Role Overview:

The Retail Associate role is very crucial in the development of BigBigPlace retail. The role is to serve customers by helping them select products and assist the current retail team by providing amazing customer experience and enhancing the BigBigPlace brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high standard of service all the time in store. This includes:
    • Greeting customers
    • Answering customer questions related to merchandise and store policies
    • Communicate clearly about products and services.
    • Recommending products or services based on customer needs
    • Processing customer payments and refunds
  • Opening and closing of the store according to operating hours.
  • Stocking, organizing, and taking inventory of merchandise. Assisting in maintaining the back stock room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor.
  • Keeping the store clean. Collaborating with fellow team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized at all times.
  • Ringing up sales and arranging for delivery or pick-up of the customer’s order if needed.
  • Inviting customers to participate in sales, company events, and informing them of the current deals.
  • Inviting the customer to join our membership program.
  • Additional tasks may include:
    • Attend sales, product and management training.
    • Assist and outstation travelling in events and expos (If required).
    • Overtime work whenever required.
