The Restaurant Manager / Supervisor plays a key leadership role in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, and consistent delivery of a high-quality dining experience. This role requires strong people management skills, operational discipline, and a customer-centric mindset aligned with HerbaLine’s wellness and service standards.
1. Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, including staff deployment, shift scheduling, inventory control, and strict cost control.
Monitor and manage food cost, labour cost, and operating expenses to meet budget targets.
Ensure smooth front-of-house and back-of-house coordination to maintain service efficiency.
Analyze operational reports and KPIs, identify cost leakage, and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
2. Customer Experience
Deliver and maintain exceptional customer service standards at all times.
Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally and promptly.
Ensure a consistent and positive dining experience aligned with brand standards.
3. Food Quality & Standards
Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control to ensure compliance with company standards.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure menu execution meets quality and hygiene requirements.
Take immediate corrective action when standards are not met.
4. Sales & Business Performance
Develop and implement initiatives to drive revenue growth, upselling, and customer retention.
Plan, monitor, and control food cost percentage, labour cost ratio, and overall operating cost.
Minimise wastage through proper inventory planning, stock rotation, and portion control.
Support marketing and promotional activities to increase footfall and sales.
5. People Management & Training
Lead, motivate, and manage the restaurant team to achieve performance targets.
Conduct staff training, coaching, and performance monitoring.
Foster a positive, disciplined, and service-oriented work culture.
6. Compliance & Safety
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and company policies.
Maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and regulatory requirements at all times.
Prepare for audits and inspections when required.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role, preferably within the hospitality or F&B industry.
Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
Excellent customer service mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding of F&B operations, including cost control, inventory management, budgeting, and labour planning.
Proficient in restaurant systems and technology (POS systems, reservations, staff scheduling tools).
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
