Job responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying potential new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector
• Support the sales team in preparing and delivering presentations on renewable energy solutions
• Assist senior team members in managing procurement activities, including sourcing, and contracting of materials and services
• Collaborate with global branches and stakeholders to gather information, understand customer needs, and provide appropriate product solutions
• Learn to maintain cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services in line with project goals
• Provide support in developing procurement strategies that align with project objectives and sustainability goals
• Assist in tracking and monitoring project expenses, ensuring within budget
• Assist in preparing sales reports and tracking performance against targets
• Support supplier evaluations and quality checks to ensure compliance with agreements and standards
• Keep updated on renewable energy trends and regulations affecting procurement and sales activities
• Ensure the Company complies with the related laws and regulations on renewable energy
• Handle any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the team leader or management

Job requirements:

• Degree in Renewable Energy Management / Environmental Science / Energy related Engineering or any related field relevant to renewable energy or sustainability
• Exposure to basic understanding of the renewable energy industry/technologies (solar, wind, hydro or energy storage) is an added advantage
• Possess some basic knowledge of procurement processes and contract management, ideally in renewable energy or related industries
• Passionate about renewable energy and eager to learn
• Result oriented, dynamic personality, good follow through and possess good organizational skills
• Self-motivated with a positive mindset and the ability to work well under guidance and deadlines
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to collaborate with team members and clients
• Good written and verbal language skill in English and Bahasa Melayu; and ability to converse in Japanese or Mandarin is an added advantage
• Proficiency in computer skills including MS Office
