Job summary

A leading banking institution in Johor, Malaysia is seeking an experienced individual for a sales role focused on investment and wealth management. You will be responsible for executing sales plans, advising customers on their investment portfolios, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance customer acquisition and retention. The ideal candidate should have a degree, CFP certification, and at least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in wealth products.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience preferably in wealth and banca products.
  • Possess relevant licenses for the portfolio.
  • Pleasant personality with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job description
  • Prepare and pro-actively execute sales plans for prospective customers from Bank’s leads (LMS) and self-generated leads
  • Actively participate and collaborate with other sales personnel at PBC/branch/region on sales activities/campaigns for customer acquisition and retention
  • Prepare and provide investment & wealth financial advisory and assistance to customers for their investment/wealth portfolio management
  • Periodic review of customers’ investment portfolio and increase AUM
  • Plan and identify cross selling/up selling to increase customers’ PHR and revenue
  • Set appointments, sales visitations, prospecting and engagement with customers
  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers to foster closer relationship and for referrals
  • Work closely with Centre Manager, Branch Manager and Regional Sales Heads on sales activities, promotion and campaigns
  • Prepare and monitor sales performance and competitors analysis to Management
  • Compliance to Bank’s policy, procedures and observe sales code of ethics
Job Requirements
  • Degree holder
  • Certified Financial Planner certification (CFP) with FIMM, PCE, CEILI and IPPC license
  • Minimum 2 years of sale experience preferably in wealth and banca products with FIs
  • Pleasant personality with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess relevant licenses required for the portfolio
  • Sales and results oriented
  • Good interpersonal and relationship building skill
