Job description

Responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients. To develop strong relationships with key decision-makers, provide financial solutions tailored to business needs, and drive revenue growth while ensuring compliance with banking regulations in order to achieve the budget given.

Key Accountabilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain professional relationships with business clients, including CEOs, CFOs, and other key stakeholders.
  • Business Development: Identify and acquire new clients, expanding portfolio.
  • Financial Advisory: Provide tailored financial solutions, including loans, deposits, trade finance, and treasury products.
  • Credit Analysis & Risk Management: Assess clients’ financial health, prepare credit proposals, and ensure risk mitigation.
  • Cross-Selling: Promote MBSB Bank’s products and services to maximise client engagement and revenue.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Portfolio Monitoring: Conduct periodic reviews of client accounts, identifying early warning signs, and taking proactive measures.
  • Special Project: Managing special projects/initiatives (as assigned).
Requirements
  • Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics, Business Administration/Marketing/ Engineering and/or professional qualifications.
  • Preferably with at least 8 years of relevant experience in commercial banking or development finance and related fields.
