A healthcare services provider in Seberang Perai, Malaysia seeks a primary medical responder responsible for workplace medical emergencies and managing on-site clinic operations. The role includes conducting health surveillance programs and supporting HR with claims. Candidates should possess a Nursing degree, valid registration with Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia, and strong clinical skills. Experience in industrial health settings is preferred. This position requires proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, along with readiness for 24/7 shifts.
1. Act as the primary medical responder for workplace medical emergencies, providing clinical assessment, treatment, stabilization, and referral.
2. Coordinate and conduct occupational health and medical surveillance programs for radiation workers, chemical handlers, and other high-risk groups.
3. Support and participate in incident and accident investigations, including injury case analysis and corrective action recommendations.
4. Support HR and EHS on SOCSO claim submission and investigation, including medical documentation and clarification.
5. Conduct and deliver First Aid Training and health related EHS training programs.
6. Manage on-site clinic operations, including medical records, medication control, and medical supplies.
7. Conduct inspections of First Aid boxes, emergency response equipment, fire cabinets, and fire extinguishers.
Support ISO 45001, DOSH, and internal audit requirements related to occupational health and first aid compliance.
Education, Qualification Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
Registered with Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia (LJM) with valid practising certificate.
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Life Support certification (ACLS/BTLS) is an added advantage.
Working Experience Requirements:
Minimum 2–5 years working experience as a Registered Nurse.
Prior experience in industrial, manufacturing, or occupational health setting is preferred.
Experience in emergency response and incident handling is an advantage.
Skills & Knowledges Requirements:
Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.
Knowledge of occupational health risks, chemical exposure, and workplace safety.
Ability to manage confidential medical information professionally.
General Competence Requirements:
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Ability to prepare reports, medical records, and investigation documentation.
Willingness and fitness to work on a 24/7 shift rotation.
