Job summary

A leading transportation organization in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, is seeking a qualified candidate to oversee daily station operations. Responsibilities include managing safety and service quality across multiple stations while leading teams effectively. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English, with knowledge in Mandarin as an advantage. A commitment to safety and customer service is essential, as well as a willingness to travel and work varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily station operations across multiple stations.
• Ensure safety, service quality, and compliance with railway SOPs.
• Lead station teams in managing passenger services.
• Manage ticketing operations, crowd control, and emergency response.
• Coordinate manpower planning across all assigned stations.
• Supervise staff and monitor their performance.
• Handle escalated customer issues and operational disruptions.
• Coordinate with security and authorities when required.
• Review operational reports and revenue data.
• Implement service and efficiency improvements across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, Business Administration, Railway Operations, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in railway or transportation operations.
• Experience in supervisory roles or multi-station coordination is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of station operations, ticketing systems, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide, supervise, and motivate frontline teams.
• Strong organizational, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Customer-service oriented with strong conflict resolution skills.
• Safety-conscious and disciplined.
• Willing to travel within the region.
