Job description

To drive sales performance and operational excellence across multiple retail outlets within the assigned region. Including leading Area Managers, ensuring customer service quality, optimizing store operations, implementing sales and marketing strategies, and building a strong, capable retail team to meet business targets.

Ability to communicate with company staffs of all levels from ground retail staffs to Senior Supervisors, Supervisors and Area Managers.

Able to motivate all levels of staffs, monitor daily sales and promotional activities.

Manage sales targets, sales history and ability to help plan manpower accordingly to maximise sales in retail outlets. region to manage is northern and based in Penang.

Must travel within the northern region of Perlis, Kedah, Penang and Perak. Must attend HQ meeting twice a month while other days can be done through online.

Able to report and work independently with minimum supervision.

Posses good PR skills with ability to motivate retails staffs to fight for maximum sales in retails outlets.

Ability to monitor approximately 30 to 35 outlets throughout the region.

JOB SCOPE & RESPONSIBILTY
  • Monitor sales, productivity, and performance KPIs across areas and stores.
  • Work with Area Managers to develop and execute action plans to achieve 100% or above of sales targets.
  • Identify underperforming stores and implement improvement strategies.
  • Support new store openings with proper planning and merchandising.
2. Store Operations & Visual Standards
  • Ensure consistent customer service standards across all stores.
  • Oversee implementation of marketing campaigns, promotional displays, and visual merchandising standards.
  • Align store layouts & presentation to maximize customer engagement.
  • Monitor frequency and quality of store visits by Area Managers and adjust as needed.
  • Coordinate with teams to ensure the right product mix and stock levels.
  • Review store profiles to match merchandise with customer preferences.
  • Monitor stock availability, transfers, and promotional layouts.
  • Provide feedback on inventory discrepancies and loss prevention measures.
  • Lead and coach Area Managers, ensuring they are well-trained and aligned with company goals.
  • Monitor staff performance and implement performance appraisals regularly.
  • Ensure training programs are in place for sales staff, supervisors, and store management.
  • Ensure proper onboarding, training, for store operations.
5. Coordination & Reporting
  • Communicate regularly with the Retail Manager and HQ departments to align strategies.
  • Attend regular meetings and ensure Area Managers are aligned with branding, HR, and operations updates.
6. Ad-Hoc Duties

Perform other tasks, assignments, duties as assigned by superior from time to time.
