A leading global footwear company based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist. This role involves partnering with the HR team to execute the L&D strategy across Southeast Asia, including designing learning programs, managing resources, and evaluating training needs. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience in similar roles, demonstrating strong communication and organizational skills while thriving in a dynamic environment.

The successful incumbent will partner with the Regional HR Head to define and drive the Company efforts in building capability through executing the SEA L&D Framework and fostering the culture of lifelong learning. Needs to work diligently in understanding the needs of the company through structural questionnaires and interviews and implement curriculum/programs that meet the learning needs across the region. Developing all related learning and development policies, frameworks and oversee the implementation and compliance across all countries.
S/he is to ensure successful implementation alongside the Country HR Team and to optimize the utilization of the learning solutions both online and offline. Some of the specific areas of focus are listed but not limited to:
In addition, the incumbent will extend support to Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam by working closely with the respective local HR teams to identify learning needs, coordinate training activities and ensure consistent implementation of the regional L&D framework across all SEA countries.
Work with relevant stakeholders to analyze learning and development needs that are critical to deliver business objectives and results.
Evaluate and collaborate with external providers on any necessary learning solutions for targeted group.
Produce timely and accurate learning report and analysis for HR Management Dashboard.
Review and revise existing learning programs/ solutions and make necessary enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning and retention and to meet the changing needs of the company and industry.
Design and develop engaging and compelling course content that incorporate learning pedagogies/ andragogy for delivery of face-to-face, online and hybrid courses to equip employees with required skills and competencies to support the Company's growth.
Exploring and developing new approaches and techniques for learning delivery to ensure it remains engaging and meets the defined quality and expectations.
Bachelor's degree in related field with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the similar capacity.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of training and talent development techniques, content design and delivery.
Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and can communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
Demonstrate strong understanding and passionate about human capital development needs.
Able to evaluate multiple highly detailed tasks, determine priorities and organize work for maximum delivery results.
