Job summary

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of IT analysts, engineers, and contractors to support Corporate IT, Refinery IT systems, and Process Control applications.
  • Plan and implement future refinery information and process control systems, ensuring high system availability and security.
  • Manage refinery computing infrastructure, process control applications, and end‑user computing while ensuring compliance with security and control standards.
  • Oversee business continuity planning (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) to minimize downtime and ensure rapid recovery.
  • Provide strategic guidance on adopting modern technologies, including automation, cloud computing, IoT, and data analytics.
  • Monitor system usage, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with ISMS and other IT security regulations.
  • Collaborate with Corporate IT and key stakeholders to align technology solutions with business needs and address integration challenges.
  • Lead and support plant computing improvements, including WPC migration, DCS replacement, and advanced monitoring tools.
  • Coach, mentor, and evaluate team performance while assisting management in career development planning.
  • Liaise with vendors, operations, and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth system operation and troubleshoot technical issues.
Requirements:
  • University Degree in Chemical, Computer, Control, or Electrical Engineering (Master’s or PhD preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in refinery operations, IT, or process control.
  • Strong expertise in Operational Technology (OT) and IT cybersecurity.
  • Experience in computing infrastructure management, system administration, and process control applications.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Familiarity with ISMS compliance, BCP, and disaster recovery strategies.
