Job summary

A leading healthcare facility in Malaysia seeks a Radiation Therapist to design simulation plans, deliver radiation treatments, and perform quality assurance tests. The ideal candidate will have a Degree or Diploma in Radiotherapy, be registered with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council, and possess strong knowledge of radiation therapy principles. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to handle treatment equipment accurately.

Qualifications

• Registered as a radiation therapist with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council.
• Fresh graduates or experience in RT are encouraged to apply.
• Skills in ensuring accurate patient positioning.

Responsibilities

• Design simulation plans for EBRT and brachytherapy as requested by the Oncologist.
• Perform daily quality assurance tests on treatment machines.
• Deliver precise radiation treatments such as 3DCRT, IMRT, VMAT, SRS/SRT, and SBRT.
• Perform image verification to localize and monitor tumors before and during treatment.
• Explain procedures to patients and answer their questions.

Skills
