Job summary

A technology company in Malaysia is seeking a candidate knowledgeable in Mass Storage devices and project development. Responsibilities include sourcing components, project documentation, liaising with manufacturers, and conducting market research. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and at least 2 years of experience. Familiarity with PCB routing and AI design is preferred, along with new product research and development skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience preferably in product development.
• Familiar with AI design knowledge is an added advantage.
• Experience in product certification and licensing processes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for component sourcing, project development, and testing.
• Create and maintain accurate project documentation, including schematics.
• Liaison with contract manufacturers for product production.

Job description

· Knowledgeable on Mass Storage devices product (USB storage, SSD, microsd and etc), AI solutions

· Responsible for component sourcing, project development and testing.

· Create and maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including schematics, drawings, and technical manuals.

· Assists on product packaging design with vendor.

· Assists on product certification, import and licensing application with authority.

· Liaison with contract manufacturer for product production and component purchase.

· Conduct market research to identify latest industry trends.

· Perform any other function that may be assigned by Management.

· Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic)

· Minimum 2 years’ experience preferably .

· Familiar with PCB routing/ AI design knowledge is added advantage.

· New product research and development skills.
