A furniture manufacturing company in Johor, Malaysia, is seeking a candidate to support product development and ERP system operations. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate product documentation, coordinating designs between R&D and production, and ensuring data accuracy in the ERP system for improved production planning. Job description

Key Responsibilities

Support the company’s product development and ERP system operations. Ensure new designs, product data and system information are accurate, updated and well-coordinated between R&D and factory production.

R&D (Research & Development)

Assist in new product development and improvements.

Prepare technical drawings, BOM (Bill of Materials), specifications and product data.

Work with production, QC and suppliers to solve design or material issues.

Maintain product documentation and version control.

ERP System

Create and update product master data, BOM, routing and costing in ERP system.

Ensure data accuracy for production planning, purchasing and inventory.

Support users in ERP-related issues and coordinate with IT/vendor for troubleshooting.

Generate basic reports from ERP (production status, costing, material usage).

Monitor system workflow to ensure smooth operation between departments.
