Job summary

A leading technology company in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking Design & Development Engineers to produce customized products and support design activities. Candidates must have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with 1-2 years of experience preferred. Fresh graduates with good interpersonal skills will also be considered. Proficiency in AUTOCAD, NX, and Inventor is advantageous. The role involves teamwork, troubleshooting, and providing technical support for customer satisfaction.

Job description

Develop variants/ customized products from R&D core products which involves designing, drafting, and developing new features, safety interlocks, etc. for industrial and overseas market exposure.

Design improvements for standard products.

Responsible for all design related activities to the project, including preparation of bill of materials (BOM), production documents etc.

Liaise with Projects team for on time engineering milestones according to the project schedule

Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis to various design problems/ issues faced in shop floor/site.

Provide technical support to other departments on product related issues.

Attend technical meeting/ tender clarification with end client.

Investigate site issues and provide solutions to customer satisfaction.

Provide training/ product presentation / demonstration to end users on product.

Produce required design documents for customers approval including technical datasheets, design calculations and others.

Hands on experience on working in medium voltage products and building prototypes.

Sheet metal and Mechanical drawings in 3D modelling software

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (2 vacancies available for Mechanical & Electrical teams ).

Preferably 1-2 years of work experience in Design & Development roles.

Fresh graduates with good interpersonal skills & learning mindset may be considered.

Able to understand basic technical knowledge.

Basic knowledge in AUTOCAD, NX, Inventor software is a plus.

Willing to travel for type tests or business meetings if necessary.
