About the Job

• Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in FnB, Retail or Corporate Office project experience
• Experience in working with SEA clients would be a plus

Cost Estimation & Tendering: Assist in the preparation of detailed Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and cost estimates for new retail and commercial projects.

Contractual Administration: Support the team in drafting Letters of Award, managing contract documentation, and ensuring compliance with project terms.

Financial Management: Prepare progress claims, payment certificates, and final accounts. Monitor project budgets and assist in cost control to ensure profitability.

Site & Stakeholder Liaison: Conduct site valuations and coordinate with sub-contractors, suppliers, and project teams to verify work progress and resolve discrepancies.

Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of all project-related documents, including drawings, contracts, claims, and change orders.

About the Requirements

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Experience: min 4-6 years of experience in the construction or interior design industry, with exposure to retail or commercial projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are also essential.
• Certifications: Provisional registration with the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (BQSM) is a plus.
• Experience with working with China clients would be a plus
