Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in interior design.

Our client "S.U.A. Interior" is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (Ex/ Snr) to join their team!

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting opportunity in the interior design industry? Join our client's team in Petaling Jaya and be part of innovative projects while leveraging your expertise in cost estimation and project management.

About Our Client

S.U.A. Interior is one of Malaysia's longest-standing homebred Independent Interior Design firms. Founded in the 1980s, they have grown from a small team to a widely recognized firm with an impressive portfolio of internationally renowned clients. Their work has played a significant role in shaping the modern built environment.

What you'll be doing?

Prepare financial documents: Develop quotations, cost estimates, tender documents, and evaluation reports to ensure project financial accuracy.

Client interaction: Attend tender interviews and negotiations, fostering strong client relationships and securing new business.

Contract management: Administer contracts, prepare letters of award, and manage project-related contractual matters efficiently.

Project oversight: Monitor site operations, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure timely submission of project documents.

Financial control: Take responsibility for project profit and loss, prepare monthly progress claims, and manage procurement processes.

Quality assurance: Prepare defect lists, arrange repairs, and compile QAQC reports to maintain high standards of work.

Stakeholder liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project progression.

Who are they looking for?

Experienced professional: Ideally, you have at least 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in interior design.

Educational background: Post Graduate Diploma or related field from an accredited institution is preferred.

Technical proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office, project management software, and familiarity with design applications like AutoCAD and Sketch-up.

Language skills: Fluent in English and Malay. Proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is advantageous for client communication.
