We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at P E SETIA CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD in Puchong, Selangor. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects, ensuring cost-effective and efficient project delivery. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of our company within the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Analysing and managing project costs, including procurement, tender processes, and contract negotiations
• Providing technical advice and support to project teams on a wide range of commercial and contractual matters
• Monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure they remain within budget
• Preparing and presenting progress reports, financial statements, and other project-related documentation
• Identifying potential cost savings and implementing cost-effective solutions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers

What we're looking for

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related engineering/construction and road works
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the road works
• Excellent understanding of construction processes, contracts, and cost management principles
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in the use of relevant software and tools (e.g., cost estimation, project management)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
