Job description

As Quality Technicians at JVCKENWOOD ELECTRONICS MALAYSIA SDN BHD, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in the company's manufacturing processes. Reporting to the Quality Management Division, you will be responsible for performing various quality control checks and tests to identify and resolve any issues. This full-time position is based in Johor Bahru, Johor.

Quality Control (QC) Department

• Support production in handling non-conforming part issues.
• Conduct meetings, audits, and study suppliers’ processes.
• Liaise with suppliers on quality matters.
• Investigate the cause of non-conforming parts.
• Coordinate corrective action.
• Arrange and collect data for incoming quality control (IQC) and concerned departments.
• Arrange for document storage.
• Handle equipment inspection.
• Prepare schedule for IQC activities (travel, meeting, audit, etc.).
• Control documents and stationery for IQC department.
• Arrange purchase items.
• Provide training for new members.
• Perform additional responsibilities as instructed by superior.

Quality Assurance (QA) Department

• Control and coordinate calibration for in-house and external party calibration.
• Perform coordination work when required.
• In charge of equipment arrangement to suppliers.
• Control master information data for all equipment and tools in JKEM.
• Control fixed assets for QA & OQC.
• Carry out in-house calibration for electrical and mechanical parts.
• Control equipment including transfer equipment within JVCKenwood Group or disposal activities.
• Perform additional work as requested by superior.
