Job summary

  • Handle incidents and near misses according to hospital policies.

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure all requests made by the Requesting Department for new or changed procedures are processed for management’s approval and ensure distribution of manuals/ latest version of policies and procedures to the recipients are in a timely manner.
  • To ensure all documents (Policies, SOPs, WIs, and Forms) are properly controlled to ensure they are the latest version.
  • To plan, develop, coordinate, execute and evaluate the Internal Quality Audit Programme (ISO & MSQH Audit) so as to ensure efficient and effective audit exercise.
  • To ensure the status of non-compliance and partial compliance identified during the self-assessment/audit are closed.
  • To ensure incidents and near misses are handled and managed in accordance with the hospital policies and procedures.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as healthcare or science.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in quality assurance, quality control or healthcare management is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with quality standards like the Malaysian MSQH accreditation standards and the ISO 9001 quality management system is essential.
