An aerospace manufacturing company in Negeri Sembilan is seeking a quality inspection technician. The role involves conducting inspections using precision measuring tools, ensuring compliance with AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements, and generating related reports. Candidates should possess a Technical Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical with at least two years of relevant experience. Proficiency in English and knowledge of engineering drawings are essential. To perform dimensional measurement and quality inspection for in-process, finished, assembled parts and FA parts according to part drawings and specifications.
Ensure the document is up to the latest revision before use.
To use variety of precision measuring instruments such as CMM, VMM, profilometer, indicators, height gauge, micro-meters and any other inspection gauges.
Carried out inspections throughout hardware receiving, assembly, integration, test, In-Process, and Final Inspections utilizing manual or advanced inspection equipment/gaging to ensure conformance and compliance.
Initiate documentation of nonconformance issues and cooperate with cross-functional teams to assist in problem-solving activities to support identified nonconformities.
Review supplier End Item Data Packs and First Article Inspection Reports.
Generate in process AS9102 First Article Inspection reports.
Team for external audits related to products such as Internal customer audits and NADCAP audits and ISO Audits.
Supports the company’s commitment to maintain a safe workplace and to protect the environment through the establishment and support of Company policy and adherence to various regulations and requirements.
Adheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.
Understanding customer FAIR requirements and ensuring 5S at workplace all times.
To do the calibration for equipment tools.
Technical Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical equivalent with two years or more of machine shop and/or quality experience or more experience in a manufacturing and/or quality environment.
Knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements and forms.
Understanding engineering drawing/schematic reading.
Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimension & Tolerancing (GD&T) requirements.
Have a knowledge in conducting a CMM machine is an advantage.
Good in speaking and reading in English.
