Job description

Join the dynamic team at SPR Microtech Sdn Bhd as a Quality Control Inspector. This full‑time role will be based in Muar, Johor, where you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and compliance of our fabrication processes and products. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards and contributing to the overall success of our business.

What you'll be doing

Perform dimensional and visual inspections using QC measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometres, height gauges, smart scope etc.).

Maintain and manage measurement tools and equipment to ensure the accuracy of quality checks throughout the inspection process.

Communicate and collaborate with relevant teams on inspection findings, including any deviations or non‑conformities to develop and implement corrective actions or measures for rectifying the identified issues.

Able to read and interpret information from engineering drawings to generate a complete and precise inspection report.

Maintain accurate documentation by recording, organizing, and preparing all relevant documents to facilitate efficient tracking and reference.

Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures to monitor and improve product quality.

Perform hand finishing, deburring, filing, polishing and etc.

Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area to foster a safe and productive environment.

Any other ad‑hoc jobs as assigned from time to time.

What we're looking for

Preferably proven track record of 2+ years in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably within the precision fabrication industry.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify areas for improvement.

Proficient in using quality control tools and technologies, such as CMMs and etc.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Good working knowledge of quality management systems, statistical process control, and root cause analysis techniques.

Diploma holder in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline.

Fresh graduate or junior is welcome to apply.
