Job Purpose

The Executive, Quality Control (QC) is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company specifications. This role supports manufacturing operations by implementing quality control processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality inspections on raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Monitor and enforce Quality Control procedures, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Conduct investigations on quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints, and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain proper documentation and records in accordance with ISO, HACCP, GMP, or other applicable standards.
  • Support internal and external audits, including preparation of documents and follow-up actions.
  • Work closely with Production, Warehouse, and other departments to ensure consistent product quality
  • Assist in continuous improvement activities to enhance quality performance and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Quality Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum [1–3] years of working experience in Quality Control, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of QC tools, GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and basic food safety or quality systems.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
