Job summary

A global automotive leader is seeking a quality engineer to analyze manufacturing data and support quality improvement initiatives at their new plant in Ulu Tiram, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, alongside 2-5 years of experience in quality engineering or analytics, preferably within the automotive sector. Responsibilities include developing quality reports and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality. The offered salary ranges from RM 4,500 to RM 7,000.

Qualifications

• 2 – 5 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing analytics, preferably in automotive/appliance industry.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze quality and manufacturing data to identify defect trends.
• Develop and maintain quality dashboards and reports.
• Apply statistical tools for root cause analysis.
• Support internal defects and quality improvement projects.
• Collaborate with teams to drive data-driven decisions.
• Provide quality performance reports for management.
