Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and client-specific requirements.
Ensure QA/QC procedures, processes, and documentation are up to date and aligned with project specifications.
Monitor adherence to QMS across all engineering services projects.
2. Quality Assurance (QA)
- Review project designs, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards before execution.
- Conduct internal audits and inspections to verify adherence to QA procedures.
- Provide guidance and training to engineering teams on QA requirements and best practices.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective/preventive actions.
3. Quality Control (QC)
- Develop and oversee QC inspection plans for engineering activities, materials, and equipment.
- Inspect and monitor engineering work on-site and off-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
- Review test results, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely resolution.
- Approve or reject materials, equipment, and workmanship based on QC results.
4. Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate QA/QC records, including inspection reports, test certificates, NCRs, and corrective action reports.
- Prepare periodic quality reports for management and clients.
- Ensure traceability and proper storage of quality documentation.
5. Compliance and Standards
- Ensure engineering activities comply with relevant national and international codes, standards, and statutory regulations.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, quality standards, and new technologies in engineering services.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and technicians.
