Job summary

A manufacturing company in Kedah, Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to oversee quality improvement programs, manage ISO compliance, and address customer complaints effectively. This role involves developing quality processes and conducting internal audits. Ideal candidates will ensure the quality system is maintained and provide regular feedback to management.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting 8D or customer complaints activity and coordinating plant wide quality improvement programs via Problem Solving approach.
  • Ensuring that the quality system is maintained and controlled, with regular feedback on quality achievements and trends against defined standards to management.
  • Assisting in internal and external QA System ISO 9001 2015 compliance; in parallel preparing for higher Quality System qualification (i.e. ISO 14000).
  • Developing the quality processes for products manufactured to ensure the quality meets the customer’s requirements.
  • Assuring customer complaints and comments are addressed well to resolve any quality issues arise.
  • Working closely with all functional areas in initiating and conducting Internal Audit programs and verifying the progress of corrective actions.
  • Acting as Lead Auditor for internal audit program in the company.
  • Any other assignment from time to time.
