2 position based in Sungai Petani, Kedah.

Job Description:
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer through interactive communication.
  • Handle customers complaints, provide appropriate solution and alternatives within the time limits, follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
  • Participate in meetings held at various levels within the organization.
  • Create and develop detailed, comprehensive and well-structured Quality Inspection plans (IS) and methods for inspection to ensure products are meeting the customer requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective/preventative action plans on any non-conforming event. Follow-up on the action plans and assess the effectiveness of changes made.
  • To spearhead all Quality Assurance Operations via pinpointing the root cause whether it is coming internally or externally, in order to systemically drive down bottlenecks that impede the overall Quality Assurance standards within the organization.
  • Ensure KPIs are met by working to the overall plan, including management of, and reporting. Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required.
  • Liaise with other managers and staff to provide training, tools, and techniques to enable others to meet quality standards and achieve continuous improvement of the QMS.
  • Maintain and update the Quality Management System (QMS) processes to ensure compliance with ISO standards, and legal, customer and company requirements.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the products and services produced by their company meet a certain standard of quality across all manufacturing sites of EKO. Ensures compliance with regulations and controls by examining and analyzing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation; and recommending opportunities to strengthen the internal control structure.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams (CFT) in the development of new products (APQP) or changes related to current products in meeting customer requirements.
  • Responsible for developing, applying, revising and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
  • Participate in the Advanced Product Quality Planning activities to determine appropriate use of existing and new measurement systems during new product or process design and startup.
  • Program, set-up and operate a wide variety of inspection and test equipment including CMM with PC-DMIS software, optical comparator and computer assisted precision measurement instruments
    Perform calibrations and measurements traceable to the International System of Units (SI) using appropriate reference standards.
  • Any related task assigned by superior / HOD.
Job Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's in manufacturing, mechanical engineering or any related field.
  • At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the manufacturing industry or similar industry or heavy industry.
  • Preferably junior/senior Executive specialized in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent.
  • Technically competent and knowledgeable on ISO 9001, correlation study.
  • GR&R, MSA, SPC, IATF core tools, GD&T, QC 7 tools, Quality plan, product and process knowledge in manufacturing field.
  • In-depth understanding in QA methodologies, QC tools and processes and has the ability to prioritize and execute CAPAs effectively.
  • Good command of spoken & writing English for internal and customer communication.

    3. Immediate alert on problem and providing as much necessary information.
