Job summary

A growing tech company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to collaborate with teams on testing web, mobile, and backend products. Candidates should have a minimum of three years in software quality assurance, be well-versed in QA methodologies, and possess strong analytical skills. The position involves executing test plans, identifying defects, and continuously improving QA processes. This role offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on product quality.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years or more of experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and software development processes.
• Experience performing manual testing for web and/or mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Postman, or equivalent.
• Experience with API testing and writing detailed bug reports.
• Experience with automated testing tools or frameworks is a plus.

Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects through the entire software development lifecycle.

Performing functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure product stability.

Working closely with developers and designers to ensure issues are resolved and product quality is maintained.

Continuously improving QA processes, tools, and automation practices.
