The ideal candidate will be responsible for issuing purchase orders, updating demand forecasts, and coordinating with suppliers to meet production needs. Company Background:

Our client is a well-established technology manufacturer specializing in magnetic solutions and injection molding products. The company offers end-to-end services from design and R&D to mass production, supporting global customers through integrated manufacturing and engineering capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop inbound material plans on a weekly basis based on customer demand, internal inventory levels, and related data.
• Update demand forecasts (FCST) to suppliers weekly and ensure suppliers prepare materials in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Issue purchase orders accurately and promptly according to material plans and order gaps.
• Follow up on material deliveries and coordinate supplier lead times to ensure internal production and shipment requirements are met.
• Provide timely feedback and handle quality issues, including reconciliation and charge-back arrangements.
• Proactively update the Cross-Functional Team (CFT) on project procurement progress, drive corrective actions for exceptions, and enhance overall project contribution.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree or above, with at least 2 years of experience in direct material procurement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strong working knowledge of Excel functions.
• Good communication skills, strong numerical and analytical abilities, and logical thinking.
• Highly motivated, responsible, and capable of effective cross-functional collaboration.

Salary Range: RM4000 - RM8000
