A leading enterprise in Malaysia is seeking a responsible individual to conduct purchasing activities, manage vendor relations, and handle shipments. Ideal candidates should possess at least a diploma or degree, have strong negotiation and communication skills, and team spirit. The role also requires proficiency in Mandarin for supplier interactions.
Responsible on conducting purchasing activities.
Process Purchase Order (PO) to vendor.
Ensure to follow up with vendors on time delivery status (OTD).
Handle and follow-up on confirmed import shipment.
Assists and follow up in handling quality issues/reject items.
Ensure and maintain and record all the purchases, pricing, invoices and other important data systematically.
Follow up on payment.
Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a SPM/Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in any field.
Fresh graduate are encourage to apply.
Pleasant personality with good negotiation skill and communication skills.
An active team player, able to work proactively and independently with minimum supervision.
Min 1 years of relevant working experience.
Able to converse and write in mandarin is an added advantage to deal with suppliers.
