Job summary

A growing organization in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Purchasing Executive to support its operations. Responsibilities include sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, issuing purchase orders, and maintaining supplier records. Qualifications

Thorx Sdn Bhd is a growing and dynamic organization committed to delivering high-quality products and services to our customers. We are expanding our team and looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchasing Executive to support our operations.

Responsibilities
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing and terms.
  • Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain and update supplier information, pricing lists, and purchasing records.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure adequate stock.
  • Review and verify invoices, delivery orders, and supporting documents.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in cost control, budgeting, and continuous improvement of purchasing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience (manufacturing environment is an added advantage).
