Job description

Responsibilities

• Fully handle the purchasing of all Inventory & Non-Inventory items.
• Maintain Accounts Payable and ensure that deliveries arrive in a timely manner.
• Maintain and develop the Supplier Database.
• Source alternative Raw & Packaging materials to ensure the Company’s competitive pricing.
• Initiate negotiations with Suppliers to ensure the Company’s competitive pricing.
• Fully understand Purchasing SOP and assist in revising and executing changes as needed to ensure a smooth purchasing process with no delays to Operations Processes.
• Analyse the sales demand forecast and plan purchasing activities as required.
• Ensure that the supply of raw and packaging materials is sufficient to meet the weekly Production planning volume.
• Tabulate New Launch and Promotional items and translate them into the Purchase planning.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as required by Management from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Candidate possess at least a Degree in Purchasing, Logistics or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Extra-curricular activities will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin will be an added advantage when communicating with Suppliers).
• Knowledge of AutoCount system will be an added advantage.
