Job summary

A retail company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a candidate to manage warehouse operations, including inventory management, purchasing activities, and supplier coordination. The ideal applicant will have a Diploma/Degree/Masters and preferably one year of project management experience in the retail industry. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Proficiency in MS Office tools is necessary for efficient handling of tasks related to inventory and budgeting.

Job description

1. Establish proper system for Warehouse
2. Responsible for inventory management of warehouse. Need to do physical arrangement of the goods
3. Responsible for the accurately received storage, retrieval, and distribution of goods on a timely basis for Sg Buloh Warehouse
4. Assist all purchasing activities
5. Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
6. Physical stock verification, and preparation of monthly stock statements/reports as
7. To match and verify supplier invoices/delivery orders against submission of all
8. Ensure timely submission of all invoices and delivery orders to Finance Department.
9. Create and maintain a detailed inventory list of all incoming, outgoing, and current supplies.
10. Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
11. Coordinating with the project team and following up on delays or orders that have
12. Expedite and follow up with suppliers for on‑time delivery to support operations
13. To do proper filing for the both purchasing and warehouse
14. Any other duties assigned by the Management as and when deemed necessary.
