Overview

We are seeking a talented Protege Engineer / Junior Engineer / Site Engineer to join our dynamic team at pembagunan jati raya', a leading civil/structural engineering firm based in Tawau, Sabah. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and contributing to the successful delivery of a wide range of civil and structural engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the design, planning and implementation of civil and structural engineering projects
• Conducting site inspections, monitoring construction progress and ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations
• Preparing technical documentation, such as reports, drawings and calculations
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and optimise project outcomes
• Participating in the development and implementation of innovative engineering solutions
• Providing support to senior engineers and contributing to the overall success of the engineering team

What we\'re looking for

• A bachelor\'s degree in civil or structural engineering, or a related field
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in civil/structural engineering, preferably in a consulting or construction environment
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles, design methodologies and construction practices
• Proficiency in CAD software, engineering analysis tools and project management software
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
