Job description

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Project/Site Engineer to be an integral part of our dynamic construction and engineering team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to exciting projects and work within a collaborative and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision

Oversee daily site activities and ensure work is carried out according to plans, specifications, and safety standards.

Monitor subcontractors, workers, and suppliers to ensure timely and quality execution.

Technical Coordination

Interpret construction drawings and resolve technical/site issues with consultants, subcontractors, and the internal team.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation (method statements, site reports, test reports).

Quality Control

Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards and specifications.

Conduct inspections and coordinate with consultants/authorities for joint inspections.

Project Execution Support

Assist in work scheduling and resource planning.

Monitor progress and report on daily, weekly, and monthly work status.

Safety Compliance

Ensure all work is executed in line with the company’s safety policies and local regulations.

Participate in toolbox meetings and promote safety awareness on site.

Material & Resource Management

Coordinate delivery and storage of materials.

Ensure proper material usage and prevent wastage.

Act as a liaison between consultants, contractors, suppliers, and the internal team.

Attend coordination meetings and prepare site memos or instructions when needed.

Detail-oriented, with a keen eye for quality and safety.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Proven experience in a similar role in the construction/engineering industry.

Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Proficient in autocad.

Knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Knowledge of how to read and interpret construction drawings including architectural, structural drawings as well as bar bending schedules.

Knowledge of basic construction process standard procedures for surveying/setting out, rc works, wetworks, plastering, painting etc.

Hunger and desire to learn new things and not afraid to get your hands dirty by being involved in site works.
