Job summary

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in project sales, preferably in access control, CCTV, ELV, or building automation systems.

Track Record

• Proven track record of successfully managing and closing large-scale security projects in government or enterprise sectors.
• Experience in biometric access control systems and AI-powered security solutions is highly desirable.
• Experience in Malaysia's security market is preferred.

Technical Knowledge

• In-depth understanding of biometric technology, access control systems, and AI in security.
• Familiarity with international security standards, such as BS EN60839 Grade 4, and their application in project specifications.

Project Management Skills

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle complex sales cycles from inception to completion.
• Experience with tender processes and procurement in Malaysia's government or enterprise sectors.

Market Understanding

• Deep knowledge of the Malaysian security market, including key players, trends, and regulatory environments.
• Awareness of the growing demand for physical security solutions in data centers, government, and enterprise sectors.

Networking & Relationships

• Extensive network in Malaysia’s construction, security, and government sectors.
• Proven ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with system integrators, consultants, and project developers.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or sales.
• Familiarity with security system certifications, such as those from ASIS International or similar bodies.

Core Competencies

• Self-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
