Position: Project Managers
Job Purpose: Manage day-to-day project operations, ensuring timely technical deliverables, resource coordination, cost control and on-site execution in line with approved baselines.
Key Accountabilities
- Detailed Execution
- Break down the master schedule into rolling 4-week look-ahead plans.
- Coordinate issuance of IFC (Issued-for-Construction) drawings, RFI (Request for Information) logs and engineering change notices (ECNs).
- Oversee procurement progress: PO issuance, expediting, vendor performance assessments.
- Cost & Schedule Control
- Monitor weekly site progress, validate progress claims and subcontractor payment certificates.
- Update risk register; implement mitigation actions for high-impact/high-probability items.
- Site Coordination & Safety
- Liaise with Site Supervisor to enforce daily toolbox talks, RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements).
- Ensure site deliverables (e.g. pre-commissioning punchlists) are closed in accordance with ITP sign-off.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Produce monthly progress reports: schedule status, cost variance, NCRs, and QA snapshots.
- Maintain project document control system: transmittals, correspondence and technical logs.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management, clients, and stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and milestones.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, reports, and contracts.
- Project Planning and Execution
- Lead the end-to-end management of M&E EPC and EPCM projects, ensuring that all project objectives are met in accordance with contractual agreements and company standards.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, timelines, resource allocation, risk assessments, and budget estimates.
- Ensure effective coordination and management of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Monitor and control project progress, implementing corrective actions when necessary to keep the project on track.
- Budget and Cost Management
- Manage project budgets, ensuring that all financial targets are met and that costs are controlled.
- Prepare and review financial reports, tracking expenditures, forecasts, and project profitability.
- Ensure effective cost management strategies to optimize project efficiency and profitability.
- Team Leadership and Coordination
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure the timely delivery of projects.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Ensure effective communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Risk Management and Compliance
- Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project changes, including scope adjustments, contract modifications, and stakeholder expectations.
- Contract and Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and successful project outcomes.
- Oversee contract negotiations, manage contractual obligations, and ensure all project deliverables are met in line with client expectations.
- Quality Assurance and Control
- Implement quality control processes to ensure all project deliverables meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Eng or a related field. A Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage in your discipline with 5–8 years on EPC/EPCM projects; exposure to both office and site environments.
- Familiarity with material take-off (MTO), subcontractor scoping and local procurement channels.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of M&E systems, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, process system, cleanroom system, as well as construction methodologies, codes, and standards.
- Project Management Skills: Strong proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and contract administration. Experience with MS Project or similar project management tools.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex project challenges and deliver high-quality results.

Additional Job Purpose
Ensure the integrity, compliance and constructability of engineering deliverables; act as the bridge between design offices, procurement and site execution teams.
Additional Key Accountabilities
- Technical Review & QA/QC
- Perform technical reviews of IFC drawings, datasheets and calculation packages for compliance with project specifications and codes (SS CP, IEC, NFPA).
- Lead internal technical walkthroughs and coordinate third-party certifier inspections.
- Constructability & Interface Management
- Conduct constructability reviews with Site Supervisor; identify clashes, site constraints and propose mitigation.
- Manage technical queries (RFIs) and ensure timely resolutions with design consultants.
- Evaluate vendor drawings/submittals, ensure alignment with MTO and technical requirements.
- Approve technical aspects of material inspection reports (MIRs) and FAT/SAT protocols.
- Coach project engineers on technical standards, drafting conventions and calculation best practices. Compile lessons-learned log on technical issues and maintain a knowledge repository.
- Team Coordination and Execution
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to achieve project deliverables.
- Ensure installation and execution progress aligns with project timelines and specifications.
- Supervise and ensure all works comply with contract drawings and technical requirements.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare method statements, shop drawings, installation/testing checklists, and progress reports.
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of shop drawings with consultants and subcontractors.
- Manage technical submissions with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Site Supervision and Quality Assurance
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential risks.
- Resolve technical and on-site issues through discussions with stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations throughout the project.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities for approvals, inspections, and commissioning.
- Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Resource Management
- Assist the Project Manager in negotiating and procuring materials, equipment, and labor within the approved budget.
- Monitor the efficient use of resources to achieve project objectives.
- Process Optimization
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance project efficiency and outcomes.
Additional Qualifications & Experience
- B.Eng in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil with 6–8 years’ EPC/EPCM experience.
