The ideal candidate should have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and at least 10 to 15 years of experience in project management. Job description

To obtain all relevant approvals for the construction of the projects including layout plan, earthworks, infrastructure works, building plan approval and all other relevant approvals including the issuance of certificate of fitness and/or certificate of completion and compliance.

To coordinate with consultants during conceptual design, design development and tender stage and to ensure that all drawings are prepared within stipulated time frame for submission to the relevant authorities and calling tender.

To contribute towards and see to the finalization of designs and materials proposed by consultants and contractors for the projects.

To oversee and monitor the progress of building construction works to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the contracts and the construction drawings especially in respect of the specifications, quality and time of completion.

To ensure that construction works are completed with minimum defects and have achieved desired standard quality of workmanship.

To ensure that projects are completed within budget and stipulated timeframe.

To contribute ideas towards achieving marketable and better product.

Requirements

Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering / Construction Management or equivalent

Must have a minimum of 10 to 15 years' of working experience involved in mixed development projects

Sound knowledgeof civil, structural, quantity surveyingand architecturalworks

Strong leadership and ability to lead site projectteam and coordinate with internal contract department and consultants

Ability to coordinate with relevant government authorities for the required approvals and permits / licenses

Experience in ISO, IBS, Q-LLASIC and CONQUAS system
